1. Why should I choose a photo book for my album?

2. Does a book album cost more than a traditional album?
It depends on the cover you choose, as well as the format and the number of pages. We have 4 product lines, 10 types of paper combined with over 500 types of covers, from the simplest to those made with top-quality leather and with leather applications, metal initials, or laser applications. We also offer the possibility of edging the pages with gold, silver, or real steel, as well as many other accessories. As far as layout is concerned, the photo book album is undoubtedly more cost-effective; just compare it with photo enlargements in any shop and the prices of the pages of our albums. Then we should not forget that, when having a CD from the photographer containing hundreds of photos, the tendency is to print almost all of them, make enlargements, and create different albums also for relatives, resulting in incalculable expenses for mediocre quality. Naturally, all this also depends on your photographer’s prices.

3. What if I like traditional albums?
There is no problem at all. Photography exerts a magical attraction toward the past, and it is right that technology should not hinder this. We adore photography in all its forms and not only are we not against traditional albums, but we also have a wonderful collection of albums with glued photographs which, just like photo book albums, are guaranteed Made in Italy, have artisanal quality, modern and traditional covers, and design that makes them furnishing objects for living rooms, offices, and showrooms. All you need to do is print your photos and glue them onto the pages of our albums to immediately create something unforgettable and special.

4. What is the difference between hot bonding and double-sided adhesive bonding?
This is also one of the reasons why we chose Album Epoca, because it is the only one that applies this bonding method between pages while following the entire production protocol. Hot bonding undoubtedly offers maximum durability and quality because the chemical process is controlled and does not damage the visible side of the photo at all, as often happens in albums with pages bound with double-sided adhesive, where over time this bonding deforms the sheet and causes a kind of yellowing or, in many cases, even stains on the surface. Hot bonding guarantees the same result as on the first day throughout the entire life of the album. We wanted your album to live at least as long as your entire life—a wish we now consider surpassed. 5. Why do you say that every album is different from another?
Because the combinations are countless. Let’s do a bit of math: 4 product lines, over 500 covers for this year’s collection. Every year the collections are renewed with new covers different from the previous ones or modern reinterpretations of earlier collections. Another reason we chose Album Epoca is precisely because it is the only one that works in this way. 10 types of paper. All of this must be multiplied by dozens of very different graphic layout styles. Each album has a number of pages based on needs and possibilities, starting from 30 pages up to 120. Add to this the possibility of edging with gold or silver, the third sheet, laser or Swarovski applications, initials or metal bands, etc., etc. As a result, there are millions of different combinations for each annual collection, and with all our optimism, we do not hope to have that many clients.

6. Why don’t we sell our albums directly?
Because we believe that photography is art and the photographer is the artist who creates it. He or she is the one who was present on your most beautiful day, who took part in every intimate or public moment during the wedding. Only they can choose, among hundreds of photos, which are the best executed and which represent you and your event best. We have also given some agencies the opportunity to produce our albums, because they too, like photographers, share with you every detail of what will remain in your memory for life as one of the most beautiful and important days.

7. Can I make a photo book for another celebration as well?
Not only that. You can also create a collage with the most beautiful photographs of your family or your life, even if they are on film or already printed. You just need to have the films or old photos scanned at any photo studio, and we will create a photo book album for that occasion.
