AE ACADEMY 2017

We come from a fantastic experience that has by now become a genuine and highly fruitful tradition for our photographers: AE Academy — the annual gathering of photographers from around the world with a leading company in the world of photography, Album Epoca. This time we were in two fantastic locations, Colli del Tronto and Rimini, locations that became the setting for three days packed with a complex training programme centred precisely on the professional evolution of photographers, including the Albanian photographers who take part in it periodically. There were a full 15 photographer lecturers, among the best known in the world and beyond, marketing and image experts, successful representatives from the business world, etc.
As always, the leitmotif of this AE Academy was sharing experience, inspiration, personal growth, but also strengthening the spirit of collaboration among professionals in the sector. Among the well-known photographer speakers were names such as David Beckstead, Natalie Licini, Sam Sciarrino, Bambi Cantrell, Marc Anthony & Tony Ryan, Maggie Habieba, Lori Nordstrom, Will Cadena, Prisca Caroli, Max De Martino, Riccardo Pieri, Stefano Lista, etc. Everything was organised under the presentation of Flavio Bandiera and Maurizio Morini, and to the well-known photographers were added other lecturers such as Andrea Mainetti, Giacomo Gasperini, Rita Schiumarini, Lorenzo Perre, Emiliano Liverani, Gianluca Catzedu, etc. This event was held in collaboration with the companies FujiFilm and Profoto, undisputed global leaders who presented their latest innovations and, in collaboration with Album Epoca, gave photographers the chance to try these innovations hands-on during the workshop days. Another undisputed novelty was the presentation of our new Album Epoca product collection, a collection of 22 model lines that, through their combinations, reach over 200 covers — a collection, then, added to the existing one, increasing the range of choice and proposals for our photographers. A collection that places at its centre a creative bride with her sometimes capricious shades, a modern, cosmopolitan bride, full of colour. The new collection is presented in collaboration with Vogue Italia and aims to identify a clearly defined target for our clients, and is a growth opportunity for them, for the worthy presentation of their work. Further still, it aims to bring our photographers closer to a complex yet wonderful world — that of fashion — and does so by placing at its centre the wishes and dreams of the most important clients, that is, the brides. We will dedicate a longer article to the new collection later on; meanwhile, we hope this post has brought you somewhat closer to the magical atmosphere of an AE Academy. Meanwhile, in keeping with EJAlbum's tradition, an AE Academy Special Edition Albania is taking shape in Tirana. So, if you're interested in registering now for next year's Italian edition, write to us; for the Albanian edition, stay connected.
