**A room of one's own…**
______________
The rooms of my life
Lines from the poem by the controversial writer Anne Sexton, winner of the Pulitzer Prize in 1967.

_To enter these rooms we must be well prepared for such a visit. From the very first moment our senses must be given a strong signal, as the smell of the walls, the sheets, the still-charged fumes of the bathrooms will prepare us for the morning of conscience.
In the antechamber of this contraption, the costume of the occasion is not the one we thought would make us more presentable right from the entrance, but perhaps that of the girlish portrait of a child swaying on the swing of innocence, and…
[__POEM_QUOTE_C__]
Naive longing, pure knowledge, a leafy princess crowned with stars, laughter cut vertically from the border of memory, hurled forcefully onto the promised land of disillusionment, with the bitter taste of life.

The photograph comes into focus and then it transforms into the symbol of the warrior, handing her garment over to the "curators", rebelling against a society that created her. Her rebellion tears off the mask, lowers the curtain and shows, with realism, the true image of the rooms of a society that seeks to alienate her.
This panorama of unmasking is sustained by the anti-conformist spirit of the 1960s of the 20th century, which puts into deep question the relationship between a somewhat traditional society and the representative self, which, as a result of changes in lifestyle, under sought-after effects, transmits abstractions of a vision for another world. A world that encompasses every aspect of the human condition, including the function and role of society, the nature and motivation of human acts, the purpose of life, ethics or morality, the role of art in people's lives, the role of experience or reason in the development of knowledge, regardless of whether free will exists for them.
With the need to break away from the abstract, the approach to the real becomes essential.
…each of us, today, on the great stage, performs by "lying" through the "camera-rooms" of the cell phone from every corner of this society, with a projection outward that seemingly has shattered every intimate cell of the self, but that in truth darkens it from within, now conditioned by how one should be, rather than how one actually is… This tells us that always, regardless of everything, there is a reality where we find ourselves, forever, curled up as if inside a shell, where we cannot pretend and where we truly live. These are the told and untold stories of the women, children, men and the elderly of this present-day reality. These are the dramas and tragicomedies that none of us saw.
Hence: – "A room of one's own…" is an invitation from the curators that provokes us to finally appear as we truly are. It is a gesture of fanatical liberals of the truth, touched by visions of revolutions left half-finished at the end of the 20th century. Visions shaken by the TRI-DECADENT transition. It is a square drawn on the plaza for a fierce confrontation between us and reality, between our conscience and today's socio-digital superstructure. It is a new invitation, tied with a flesh-coloured ribbon, addressed to men and women, to reopen their old albums. They, the curators, we, must open these rooms in which we shelter ourselves; we want to know the structures of each one of us; we must come to terms with one another again…
A room of one's own is not a call inviting us to raise walls and to enclose ourselves, but an invitation to know ourselves and to become aware…!
As much as, and to whomever, it can bear!
