OPEN ART GALLERY
Prishtina (KS)

You are invited to the opening of the solo exhibition of the renowned Albanian artist Alkan Nallbani at Open Art Gallery, Prishtina, Kosovo. This exhibition has been conceived especially for the gallery’s second anniversary and places the emphasis on the search for light within the dark layers of perception and temporal experience.

“Yellow Spots in the Black Box” is inspired by a poetic tension: spots of light that appear within a dark, enclosed and elusive space. Alkan Nallbani uses pictorial stigmata as signs of life, memory, energy and revelation, while the black box becomes a metaphorical “pinhole” object that emerges as a subject within the human interior — for hidden realities, for universes that exist beyond immediate sight.
