Dear friends!
Today marks 11 years since the founding of EJAlbum, and perhaps this time is the moment to take a small stock of things. Because the situation created by the global pandemic and the halt of these past months can be nothing other than an opportunity for reflection and new beginnings.
EJAlbum is now a leader in professional photography, art and communication in the Albanian market. No one can attest to who we are better than our photographer clients and our artist friends, even though over these 11 years we have built dozens of projects in ongoing partnership with public and private institutions, embassies and cultural institutions, galleries or museums, small businesses or large companies, associations and foundations, as well as with entities or individuals who work with art, culture and communication.
The extremely high quality of our products, design kept up to date with trends, constant change in the interest of progress: this is our practice. We are a company that carries out complex projects related to the organisation of events, especially where visual art is concerned, from local exhibitions to major international events. Dozens of exhibitions in the best galleries and museums in Albania and abroad are therefore the fruit of our curatorial and executive work.
We are the exclusive distributors of the Italian companies Photosì and Album Epoca for the Balkan region. For professional photographers, Album Epoca is a benchmark for exceptionally high product quality and professional support. For the wider public, photo studios, local businesses and various agencies, Photosì conveniently delivers, online, thousands of products personalised for every event. We are partners with several foreign distributors, through whom we present and guarantee assistance in the Albanian market for extremely high-calibre companies such as Hasselblad, Canon, Nikon, Profoto, Eizo, Manfrotto, Canson, etc. In this way we make possible the sale, technical assistance and warranty coverage for these products and tools, essential for artists.
In a consolidated relationship with our commercial partners and our staff, we are able to carry out any project related to studios, trade fairs, branding and communication campaigns, product internationalisation, etc. Here too, we have served the sector in 360 degrees for years. We are a small company, conceived and built as a hub for distributing ideas and projects. Over the years we have built a network of collaborators and a specialised staff, trained to guide our clients toward change. Ongoing training, updating our knowledge and practice, and foreign expertise are part of our everyday work.
We are authors or co-authors of Onufri Remade, Imago Mundi in Albania, Hapësira Zero Space – the Albanian Pavilion 2018 – La Biennale di Venezia, AE Academy Albania, Photography Showcase, the Italian Photography Days in Tirana, etc., projects that have by now created a broad community of contemporary Albanian artists, as the culmination of our efforts to internationalise Albanian art and culture. We are, therefore, a modern company that has now filled that gap, created over the years, in professional services dedicated to Albanian photographers. But we are also a company that has brought attention back to art and communication, considering them the basis for a country's sustainable development.
