After the success of the three-week exhibition at COD – Center for Openness and Dialogue, “Albania 1921 – Eugène Pittard” returns once again for the wider Albanian public, this time in an open-air setting, in the park of the Pyramid Center.

Pittard’s photographic work conveys the human condition and as such it is an early testimony of a social photography. In his hundreds of photographs, Pittard, with his humanist eye, saw the Albanians not as objects of cold study, but as living witnesses of a history that deserved to be preserved, respected and told.

The exhibition at the Pyramid Center will once again offer the Albanian public a journey through time by means of photography and installation, taking the public, through the artist’s work, back to the fragile year of 1921.
