Ferdinando Scianna in Albania – Documentary

"Days of Italian Photography in Tirana" is among EJAlbum's most important projects, which we organise in collaboration with the Italian Institute of Culture in Tirana. The first event organised, on 17 April 2014, was the visit to Albania — in fact a return after almost 30 years since his first visit in 1984 — of the distinguished Italian photographer, a member of the prestigious "Magnum" agency, artist Ferdinando Scianna. In the "Mother Teresa" hall of the Opera and Ballet Theatre, Scianna held a meeting with over 400 participants, among them artists, photographers, personalities and members of the capital's general public. The meeting was opened and moderated by EJAlbum's PR, Julinda Mbrica, the Director of the Italian Institute of Culture in Tirana, Ms. Fulvia Veneziani, and well-known Albanian photographer Assoc. Prof. Albes Fusha, and the whole meeting was organised under extraordinary media coverage and interest in Albania.
