Love for culture begins in childhood — the “Family Art Guides” project is presented.
This project, which began as part of a collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism and the Environment, was carried out very successfully over the past months, expanding the Family Art Guides product range with 11 additional Albanian castles, graphically reconstructed in a completely handcrafted way by our working group made up of historians, artists, educators, professors, and young people passionate about children’s and family guides.
A series of activities were carried out, such as artistic and historical research, workshops, presentations, and events, culminating in the “Life in the Castle” events in the city of Elbasan.
A new publication titled “Life in the Castle” was released in two languages, Albanian and English; interactive QR-code information panels were added; the website www.familyartguides.com
was launched; digital guides were created for almost all major Albanian castles; characters were animated; digital games were developed for the web and for visitors, and more.
