During April – June of this year, we once again organized our Photography Course in Tirana, held with the collaboration of the Turkish Cultural Institute “Junus Emre”. By now the photography course has become an excellent tradition and also a beautiful example of cooperation between EJAlbum and “Junus Emre”, transformed over the years into an important event on photography in Albania. This edition we had 25 participants and of course many other interested pre-registered for the next one. As always, this course especially attracted participants who come to familiarize themselves with the art of photography and to deepen it without having the intention of starting a professional career as a photographer.

Our photography course combines very well theory with practice. More than 32 hours of theory and practice, of which 2 hours in a real professional photography studio with the contribution of EJAlbum customers, over 6 hours of street photography in Tirana plus a full day in a photo safari in the historic city of Krujë. It should be noted that, as mentioned above, important lessons were held from well-known Albanian professional photographers; example the lesson on the importance of the Photographic Projects, with Roland Tasho, the Post Production in Photography, with the professor of the Academy of Fine Arts, Albes Fusha. For practice lessons and some theoretical ones, many other professionals were involved, including EJAlbum’s customers and friends, the photographers Ergys Zhabjaku, Andis Rado, Elvin Shytaj, etc. The students also had meetings with other professional photographers during the course and this is one of the strengths of this project. We also thank other photographers who have been present in the various previous courses, such as Bledar Hasimi, Vlasov Sulaj, etc. Without forgetting the special contribution as founder of the course of Olsi Qazimi.
