About Arben Theodhosi

Born in Tirana in 1953, in 1992 he became the first Albanian artist to open a solo exhibition in the National Gallery of Arts in Tirana after the fall of communist regime – a collection of works produced during 15 years of living in labor camps. The work for Imago Mundi is a research on the tragedy of Albanian overbuilding. In this regard, he writes: “Psychologically, one of the most serious injuries and with more consequences for Albanian environment is concrete. To check it you could do a small urban research and on the ongoing building violent storm”.
