About Vlasov Sulaj
Born in Fier in 1984, he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Tirana in 2008. He lives and works in Tirana, working mainly as a professional photographer. About his Imago Mundi work, he says: “The work was born from an original idea I got as soon as I received the canvas 10×12 cm. My goal is to convey the idea that the frame – as a matter within its diameter – expresses a form of life, so it is no longer simply a canvas, but a work speaking in the language of art. Organic material, the heart of a bird, is used with the simple intent to —convey my original idea in an accurate and sheer way”.
