About Umberto Pali

The artist was born in 1965 in Shkodra, where he currently lives after a long period of emigration in Austria. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Tirana. He has participated in many solo and group exhibitions in Shkodra, Tirana, Judenburg, Zeltweg and Vienna. “For me, the artwork is the liberating experience and knowledge of the artist who, before the viewer’s identifying depth opens up endless semantic horizons of perceptions and ideas. The more pictorial are the expression means, the closer to the painting I feel”.
